6 and 0.4 kV switchgears (MSP-138) for the crucial purpose of powering INPP's internal needs

At the Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant (INPP) between 10/07/2021 and 09/30/2023 was successfully executed project for supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of 6 and 0.4 kV switchgears (MSP-138). These switchgears serve the crucial purpose of powering INPP's internal needs and facilitating the decommissioning process of related facilities, post their transition to the 110/6 kV Druksiai substation under construction.

The project's comprehensive scope extended to the delivery, installation, testing, and commissioning of a modular, thermally insulated building. This building boasts essential features, including fire alarm systems, ambient lighting, as well as heating and ventilation systems. Within the modular building, distinct compartments house a 6 kV switchgear with vacuum circuit breakers (comprising 14 USN-10 type cells), two step-down transformers with epoxy insulation at 6/0.4 kV and 400 kVA, and a 0.4 kV switchgear comprising from five cabinets. The package also incorporates auxiliary distribution boards for AC 400 V and operational DC 48 V, complete with rectifiers and battery.

Additionally, the project involved transition of INPP's 6 and 0.4 kV consumers to the power supplied by MSP-138. This necessitated the installation of external cable structures, along with the laying of 8 cables at 6 kV and 4 cables at 0.4 kV
